IMI Sensors’ differential output accelerometers

IMI Sensors, manufacturer of industrial vibration monitoring instrumentation, announced the release of two new differential output charge accelerometers designed for use in high temperature applications. These sensors feature rugged stainless steel housings and survive in harsh environments. IMI has developed these products for gas turbine monitoring, commissioning of nuclear power plants and machinery monitoring in high temperature environments.

Model EX615A42- offers a sensitivity of 100 pC/g, a measurement range of ±200 g peak and a frequency range (±5%) of 5 kHz. Designed for use in environments up to 500 °F (260 °C), the sensor has a stainless steel housing with an integral 10 ft. (3 m) armoured, low-noise PTFE cable terminating in pigtails.

Model EX619A11- offers a sensitivity of 50 pC/g, a measurement range of ±500 g peak and a frequency range (±5%) of 3 kHz. Designed for use in environments up to 900 °F (482 °C), the sensor has a Nickel 600 housing with an integral 7 ft. (2.1 m) MI hardline cable terminating in a 2-pin MIL-C-5015 connector.
